BBS Annual Plant Sale

Saturday, November 28th

Finally gardening weather returns, with the rain and heat of October behind us, now is the time to get back into the garden and look for plants to pot up for the big plant sale.

  • Have you any nice volunteer seedlings coming up?

  • How about plants that are overcrowded or in the wrong spot?

  • Please contact me if you need extra pots.

Growers and volunteers:

  • Thursday and Friday, November 26th and 27th, volunteers will be on hand to receive donations at the commercial slat house (opposite the Jack King building) from 8am - 12pm.

  • As usual, endemics, edible fruit bearing varieties, indoor plants, attractive flowering garden plants, herbs, etc. are always popular.  Decorative and plain ceramic pots and garden tools in good condition are also accepted.

  • Please be sure to label your plants and if possible, provide any brief description that might be helpful.  Please no invasive plants.

  • Volunteers will be needed for pricing, setup and sales.  Kindly put your name forward if you'd like to help out and we will contact you with details in due course.
