Rose Garden Clean up

There are some mornings that remind us why we come together—and our recent Rose Garden Cleanup at The Botanist Café was exactly that kind of day.

From the moment volunteers arrived, the Rose Garden buzzed with positive energy. Friends greeted one another, new connections were made, and before long, gloves were on and tools were in hand. With teamwork at the heart of it all, the garden quickly transformed as weeds were cleared, beds were refreshed, and the roses were lovingly tended by many willing hands.

What made the morning especially memorable was the unmistakable sense of community. Conversations flowed as easily as the laughter, proving once again that caring for our shared green spaces is about more than gardening—it’s about connection. Whether longtime members or first-time volunteers, everyone played a part, and every contribution mattered.

Of course, no great cleanup is complete without a little nourishment. The Botanist Café kept spirits high with welcome refreshments, offering the perfect pause between tasks. Coffee in hand and surrounded by the beauty of the gardens, it was easy to appreciate just how special these moments are.

By the end of the morning, the Rose Garden looked refreshed and vibrant—an achievement made possible through collaboration, dedication, and genuine enthusiasm. More importantly, the day left everyone feeling uplifted, inspired, and proud of what can be accomplished together.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to all who joined us, as well as to the Bermuda Botanical Society, the Bermuda Rose Society, and The Botanist Café for their continued support. Days like these are a wonderful reminder that when community and nature come together, something truly beautiful happens.

We’re already looking forward to the next time we gather among the roses. 🌹🌿

Botanist Cafe

At The Botanist, tucked away in Bermuda's Botanical Gardens, we believe in two things: fantastic coffee and plant puns.

So come on in, let's 'root' for each other and 'espresso' our love for nature, one sip at a time!
